We were asked at Love bakery a few weeks ago to enter a cup cake taste testing panel for the new relaunched Financial Times weekend Magazine, we had no idea who we were up against !
So we sent in what we thought would fare best, our signature red velvet, our Hickory dickory choc topped with home madebrownie and filled with chocolate Ganache, and lastly but by no means least the rhubarb and custard with a ginger snap crumble, filled with tangy rhubarb and topped with a rich custard icing and crushed ginger snap.
We finally heard the result, and out of 11 bakeries we won !! Fabulous, I won’t ramble any further and let you read the article yourself, but we are very proud of what our little bakery achieved up against the big guns 🙂
